A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain used to correct cosmetic defects. This lovely patient came to Dr. Fryer because she did not like the shape and color of her small front teeth. Look closely at her before photo. Her top front teeth were squared off and flat. She really wanted a more natural tooth shape so she could give a fuller, bigger smile without being self conscious.
Dr. Fryer knew that by doing 8 veneers on her top teeth, that he could give her the smile she always wanted.
We completed her veneers in 2 visits. During the first preparation visit, we discussed the color and shape of the new veneers with the patient. In this office, we think it’s important for the patient to have a say in what his/her results will look like. After the teeth were prepared, we made temporary veneers for her to wear until her final veneers came back from the lab. We were so pleased to see such an immediate improvement with her smile in those temporaries. We couldn’t wait to see the final results! We took all of the information she had given us, along with her impressions and records and sent it all off to Keating Dental Arts Lab so they could make her veneers.
Keating Dental Arts Lab made her veneers in about 2 weeks.
At the second visit, we removed the temporary veneers and seated in her final veneers. The results were so beautiful and were exactly what the patient had asked for. Doesn’t she look great?!
We are honored to be able to give patients the smile they’ve always wanted. If you are looking to change your smile, let us know! We’d love to help!
