Do You Have Sleep Apnea?
Let’s start with this quiz. How high did you score?
Does your snoring keep others in your house awake at night? Do you wake up with a dry mouth, sore throat, or headache? Are you tired or irritable during the day? You might be suffering from sleep apnea.
The first step in determining if you have sleep apnea is to have a sleep study done. Dr. Fryer now offers take home sleep studies.
Our take home sleep study test is very simple to do in the comfort of your own home. After a sleep apnea consultation with Dr. Fryer, you can reserve a night to take the test home. Before you leave, we will demonstrate how to wear the test and give you instructions. It’s pretty easy. Right before bed, you will attach the test to yourself and then go to sleep. In the morning, just remove the test and bring it back to us that day. The results come back within a day or two-so we can move on to a solution pretty quickly for you.
What’s The Solution?
Dr. Fryer offers an oral appliance for sleep apnea patients to wear. This oral appliance takes the place of a bulky and uncomfortable CPAP machine. The appliance is a jaw repositioning device. It is designed to hold your mouth in a position that keeps air moving properly through your airways. Best of all, it not only improves your sleep, it also improves your health. Improving your sleep won’t just let you feel better, it will let you LIVE better.
